We are about people power so we know we have achieved something when we successfully engage our community in festivals, events, talks, expos, or hands-on activities in our local environment. When people gather in numbers things change and people start to do things differently.
Our Community Clean Ups have retrieved thousands of kilograms of rubbish from the Maribyrnong River, Five Mile Creek, Steele Creek & Moonee Ponds Creek since 2020.
Organised and run in collaboration with Electrify Moonee Valley (an MVS action group) & in conjunction with community experts & local residents, this epic event was held on Saturday 10th September 2022 at Woodlands Park, Essendon.
Our aim was to raise awareness of the health, economic and environmental benefits of efficient electric homes, since we know that switching to efficient electric heating, hot water and cooking appliances, and powering them by clean renewable energy, is the most effective action our community can take right now to reduce emissions.
Together, we can create a cleaner, brighter and safer future by electrifying our homes, businesses and transport.

Run in 2021 and 2022, our mooneEValley Electric Vehicle Festivals were a huge hit, with lots of interest from locals to see electric cars, bikes and other sustainable transport options on show and speak directly with their owners and users.
Our Federal & State MPs plus Moonee Valley City Council Mayor & Councillors were in attendance at both epic events.
