Achievements

We are about people power so we know we have achieved something when we successfully engage our community in festivals, events, talks, expos, or hands-on activities in our local environment. When people gather in numbers things change and people start to do things differently.

Efficient Electric Home Expo

Organised and run in collaboration with Electrify Moonee Valley (an MVS action group) & in conjunction with community experts & local residents, this epic event was held on Saturday 10th September 2022 at Woodlands Park, Essendon.

Our aim was to raise awareness of the health, economic and environmental benefits of efficient electric homes, since we know that switching to efficient electric heating, hot water and cooking appliances, and powering them by clean renewable energy, is the most effective action our community can take right now to reduce emissions.

Together, we can create a cleaner, brighter and safer future by electrifying our homes, businesses and transport.

Sustain A Valley

Sustain A Valley events have attracted thousands of community members since 2019

Sustain A Valley is a local community eco hub event. We host a range of speakers on all matters sustainable and you will also find our Waste Collective crew to help you sort those hard to recycle items like batteries, toothpaste tubes, plastic bottle lids, pill packets etc. If you love home grown food you will love our food swap table. Bring along your excess produce and swap it for someone else’s harvest.

mooneEValley Electric Vehicle Festivals

Run in 2021 and 2022, our mooneEValley Electric Vehicle Festivals were a huge hit, with lots of interest from locals to see electric cars, bikes and other sustainable transport options on show and speak directly with their owners and users.

Our Federal & State MPs plus Moonee Valley City Council Mayor & Councillors were in attendance at both epic events.
